On 6 June, we started a series of webinars on mentoring for teachers of In-service Teacher Training Institutes. Our trainees are primary school teacher trainers and regional coordinators in charge of coordinating the implementation of the new State Standard for Basic Secondary Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 webinars (1 ECTS credit) are carried out by the Finnish trainers who are already familiar to the trainees – Anja Huurinainen-Kosunen and Riia Palmqvist. During their multi-year training experience, they have become well aware of the Ukrainian context, which helps them successfully explain and integrate the Finnish experience into Ukrainian realities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6 June the first webinar “School as a Learning Organization – Positive School Culture Promotes Learning” was held. The forthcoming webinars will introduce the trainees to such topics as methods and stages of mentoring, individual and group mentoring, co-teaching practice, professional communities, mentor’s portfolio and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
