It was attended by more than 60 participants, and the expert circle consisted of specialists from Ukraine and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traditionally, the Summer Academy was designed to enhance pedagogical skills to apply modern methods of teaching Ukrainian as the state language to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the results of the Academy, we have published a series of materials that can be found at the following links:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>what Is <a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/news\/dyferenczijovane-navchannya\/\">differentiated Instruction<\/a> and how to use It;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/news\/strategiyi-pidtrymky-uchniv-travmu\/\">strategies to support students<\/a> affected by trauma;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how children <a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/news\/strategiyi-pidtrymky-uchniv-travmu\/\">respond to stress<\/a> and how to help them;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/news\/yak-navchaty-ditej-pid-chas-vijny-porady-dlya-uchasnykiv-litnoyi-akademiyi\/\">how to teach children in wartime<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><br><strong>BombeZNO Camp 2022<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to motivate children from the Romanian- and Hungarian-speaking communities of Chernivtsi and Zakarpattia regions to speak and learn Ukrainian, in November-December we <a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/news\/bombezno-2022-ua\/\">conducted<\/a> an educational and entertainment extracurricular program \u00abBombezno Camp 2022\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program was run for three weeks \u2013 from 28 November to 16 December in an online format. In the course of the program children worked with facilitators, listened to lectures given by invited speakers, interacted with their peers in teams and worked on creating projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u042f\u043a \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0439\u0448\u043e\u0432 \u0411\u043e\u043c\u0431\u0435\u0417\u041d\u041e \u043a\u0435\u043c\u043f 2022\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NnHrK0PDzvA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Massive attacks on critical infrastructure, power cuts and poor Internet connection and communication did not stop the \u00abBombeZNO Camps\u00bb: more than 300 children took part in all program activities and another 300 ones could join some of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before organizing the camp for children, we <a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/news\/mentori-bombezno-2022\/\">conducted<\/a> training for teachers in order to prepare them to be mentors of student teams during the \u00abBombezno Camp 2022\u00bb. During the training, 60 teachers mastered effective mentoring, got acquainted with the methods of gamification of learning and other latest educational methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/go_0347-1024x576.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1873\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/go_0347-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/go_0347-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/go_0347-768x432.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/go_0347-1536x863.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/go_0347-2048x1151.jpeg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><br><strong>Training sessions and online courses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Responding to new realities due to the beginning of a full-scale war, in May \u2013 June we organized and conducted the <a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/news\/vidbuvsya-onlajn-marafon-navchaty-ta-navchatysya-pid-chas-vijny\/\">online marathon<\/a> \u00abTeaching and Learning in Wartime\u00bb. These were 10 sessions for students, their parents and teachers that helped acquire useful skills and knowledge for effective learning in difficult times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the year, we <a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/news\/treninhy-ukr-yak-derzhavnoi\/\">held<\/a> training sessions on teaching Ukrainian as the state language for methodologists of In-service Teacher Training Institutions and teachers of Ukrainian from primary schools of Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi regions where the languages of instruction are Romanian and Hungarian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training sessions were designed to enhance methodologists and teachers\u2019 pedagogical skills to apply modern methods of teaching Ukrainian as the state language to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, during 2022, teachers regularly took online courses developed by us \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/courses.ed-era.com\/courses\/course-v1:Learning_Together+1+2021\/about\">for teachers<\/a> of Ukrainian and a course for teaching in Ukrainian <a href=\"https:\/\/course.emova.language-ua.online\/courses\/course-v1:ukrainian+U-4+01-10-21\/about\">for teachers of Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><br><strong>Learning materials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most important projects for us in 2022 is the development of a set of learning materials for learning Ukrainian as the state language in grade 1 of general secondary education institutions where the languages of instruction are the languages of national minorities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The set, which consists of a student manual, a workbook and a teacher\u2019s guide, has already been authorized by IECM and received a relevant code. An additional advantage of the set is the interactive digital content \u2013 tests, games, songs and other forms to practice language skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"697\" height=\"557\" src=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/1__cover_1_1_pidruchnik.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1786\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/1__cover_1_1_pidruchnik.jpg 697w, https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/1__cover_1_1_pidruchnik-300x240.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 697px) 100vw, 697px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In September, we <a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/news\/prezentovano-komplekt-posibnykiv-dlya-vyvchennya-ukrayinskoyi-yak-derzhavnoyi-movy-v-1-klasi\/\">presented<\/a> the set of manuals in public and told educators about it. You can get acquainted with these materials and download them from the NUS hub using <a href=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/resource\/komplekt-navchalnyh-materialiv-dlya-vyvchennya-ukrayinskoyi-yak-derzhavnoyi-movy-v-pershyh-klasah-zakladiv-zagalnoyi-serednoyi-osvity-z-movamy-navchannya-naczionalnyh-menshyn\/\">this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have also developed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a multilingual <a href=\"https:\/\/matematika.app\/\">online dictionary of mathematical terms<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yoy-app.com\/\">mobile application for learning Ukrainian<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a program of the integrated course of Ukrainian as the state (second) language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All these materials have already received the IECM authorization and code.
