{"id":547,"date":"2022-05-30T13:03:44","date_gmt":"2022-05-30T10:03:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/?page_id=547"},"modified":"2023-07-18T00:44:17","modified_gmt":"2023-07-17T21:44:17","slug":"teacher-preparation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/en\/what-we-do-2\/teacher-preparation\/","title":{"rendered":"Teacher preparation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Support to <strong>teacher professional development<\/strong> <strong>in line with<\/strong> <strong>the reform<\/strong> and with <strong>enrichment of Finnish experience and good practices:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Training of teacher trainers in 25 regional In-service Teacher Training Institutes (ITTIs)<\/li>\n<li>Training of teacher trainers in 24 pilot Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)<\/li>\n<li>Support to improvement of the system of Teacher Professional Development (TPD)<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of digital training products for teachers and teacher trainers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/05\/claster-1-image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-548\" width=\"833\" height=\"339\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/05\/claster-1-image.png 778w, https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/05\/claster-1-image-300x122.png 300w, https:\/\/nushub.org.ua\/lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/05\/claster-1-image-768x313.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 833px) 100vw, 833px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p>Main stakeholders: Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Institute of Education Content Modernization (IECM), Ukrainian Institute of Education Development (UIED), State Service of Education Quality (SSEQ) and the Reform Support Team (RST).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Key results<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Throughout the project, we systematically supported teachers&#8217; professional development &#8211; even despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We conducted 34 educational activities, including trainings, webinar programs, study trips to Finland, online consultations, online courses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The key topics of our programs and courses, during which Finnish experts shared best practices and knowledge:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">primary education pedagogy<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">inclusive education<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">assessment practices<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">professional development and mentoring<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">planning, creating, evaluation of educational programs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">digital tools for teachers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our educational activities covered 2,800 educators, among whom are teachers of post-graduate pedagogical and higher education institutions, teachers, regional NUS coordinators, authors of educational programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Responding to the challenges caused by the war, we conducted a series of training and supervision sessions &#8220;Psychosocial support for teachers and students during wartime&#8221; and created a methodological manual.
