Online Course on Psychosocial Support “School of Resilience” Is Launched

The Learning Together project in collaboration with the Ukrainian EdTech company “EdEra” has launched a free-of-charge course on psychosocial support “School of Resilience”. You can take it by clicking the link.

The course focuses on the resources that the school can offer to make children feel psychologically stronger, understand their own emotions and their impact on behavior, and be able to find support among teachers and their friends.

The course consists of 4 modules:

  • what is a safe environment;
  • creating a safe class;
  • managing a class;
  • teacher professional communities: support for professional and emotional development.

The course also contains case studies offered by teachers from all over Ukraine and additional materials. A certificate is provided for completing the course – 30 hours (1 ECTS).

The course has been developed by:

  • Natalia Sofiy – PhD (Education), Expert of the Learning Together Project, Associate Professor of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University;
  • Inna Horbenko – Psychologist, PhD (Education), Associate Professor of the Department of Educational Management and Practical Psychology of the UHSP;
  • Yanina Khizhinska – EdEra Methodologist, Academic Director of Unique School;
  • Maryna Prystinska – Psychologist, Expert in Neuroeducation;
  • Iurii Gaiduchenko – Expert of the Learning Together Project, Methodologist, Teacher of Ukrainian Language and Literature at the Novopecherska School in Kyiv.
