«Learning Together» and «Go Global» Have Trained 60 Teachers-Mentors for «Bombezno Camp 2022» Student Teams

In collaboration with the Educational Foundation «Go Global» the Learning Together project has conducted training for teachers who will mentor student teams during the implementation of the program «Bombezno Camp 2022».
The offline training for teachers-mentors was held on 18-20 November. During the training, teachers mastered efficient mentoring, got acquainted with learning gamification and other latest educational methods and techniques.
A total of 60 teachers take part in the project. Children’s teams will be mentored by Ukrainian language teachers from both Zakarpatiia and Chernivtsi regions as well as by teachers-experts in Ukrainian language from all over Ukraine.
«I am sure that now, more than ever, students need not only to be trained, but to get united around some value-based fundamental concepts. The language is capable of securing it. I believe that the extracurricular program, which we offer and in implementation of which the Learning Together project has an extensive experience, will enable such unity,» says Ihor Hvorostianyi, Language Adviser of the Learning Together project.
The three-week educational and entertainment extracurricular program for children «Bombezno Camp 2022» starts at the end of November. Thanks to it, more than 600 students from Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi regions will plunge into the space of modern Ukrainian and develop the Ukrainian-speaking sector on the Internet.
The program provides for work in mixed teams – students from the Zakarpattia region will work together with students from the Chernivtsi region. By playing, children will work on the improvement of their Ukrainian, listen to motivational speakers and work together with mentors over creative assignments.
The objective of the program is to motivate children from educational institutions with instruction in Hungarian or Romanian for in-depth study of Ukrainian.
The Learning Together project has organized the «Bombezno Camp 2022» program in collaboration with the Educational Foundation «Go Global», which has been piloting, implementing and replicating projects in the educational sector for 7 years. Over this time, within the framework of GoCamp study programs «GoGlobal» has trained more than 160,000 children.
